Step1：Make out the design
Firstly, we need to make out the design of custom cufflinks, based on the production method and the requirements on each specific logo, style or pattern, after an all-around negotiation.

Step2：Confirm the artwork
Confirm the artwork as well as the costs, charges, like the mold fee, sampling fee, which are concluded and based on the first step. Also we can check the freight or lead time if needed.

Step 3：Start the mold engraving
After all details and charges clear and approved, we will start the mold making. It can work on a steel column, brass stick or a wax block, by a digital machine or by hand. This is a very important step for a high quality product.

Step 4：Make out the front peice
Die-striking is the most common way of making out a front peice of a cufflink, tie clip, pin or other metal crafts. Also, we use the wax-losing cast way, injection, milling or cutting frequently.

Step 5： Choose the functional back as you like
According to the different needs on cost and usage, there are different options on backs or fixings. Normally, it is soldered on the front peice, we use the silver powder to solder the clip part or back part on the front peice, to make it a tie clip or cufflink. （brazing）

Step 6：Plating finish
After buffing the metal surface, almost all products need a plating finish. Step 7： Effects on metal
The effects on metal are closely connected with platings, which is the key point of deciding the final quality feeling and level. Normal effects are shiny polished, and matt.
